In Europe...sold 2.8 million barrels, up slightly, and sales rose 11% to $472.5 million.

...said the Coors' U.S. business suffered in 2003 from weak industry demand, growing popularity of low-carbohydrate beers, and supply disruptions late in the year, which led to $8 million of additional costs in the fourth quarter.

For the full year, net income rose 8% to $174.7 million, or $4.77 a share, from $161.7 million, or $4.42 a share, for 2002. Sales rose 5.9% to $4 billion from $3.78 billion.

Coors attributed the increase for the year to a lower effective tax rate, solid pricing in the Americas, higher volume and margins in Europe, and favorable foreign-exchange rates, including an 8.4% appreciation in the British pound against the dollar.

Stock recently jumped from $56 to $64.50 today. Am I missing something, or does LT $80, this year $73, and in the ST $70 seem to be viable numbers.

I'm a newbie and short on the ability to quickly perform technical analysis of Feb's EPS numbers. Just noticed Coors last night and added to my watch list.

Any comments are welcome... I am not touting this stock, I'm just bringing it your attention.
