I read the 1-28-00 report that Hasbro Interactive's Roller Coaster Tycoon was the #1 selling game of 1999. I think this is great news. This goes to demonstrate the strength Hasbro has in the computer games market.

And, quite prettily, it ain't just Quake.
(Note that WotC will release D&D Diablo and Alternity Starcraft, which should both be quite popular, but that's another story.)

I think the next really strong test for Hasbro will be Since everyone thinks the toy makers should jump on the Internet bandwagon and go interactive, it will be interesting to see how well this goes. As of yet, I haven't heard much about Hasbro's Em@il games, though. Does anyone have any more info about that?

However, just as a quick opinion, Hasbro is doing the right things to get a bigger footprint in the computer and Internet market. However, I've had trouble finding quantifiable proof of this. What are other people's thoughts?
