I guess this wealthy oligarch is paying taxes at a much lower rate than the good Christian, middle-class folks he fired. He's basically the poster boy for what's wrong with the country.

Amid a controversy fueled by his opponents over whether he plans to release his income tax returns, Mitt Romney acknowledged Tuesday that he’s been paying a tax rate of close to 15% in recent years.

“What’s the effective rate I’ve been paying? It’s probably closer to the 15 percent rate than anything,” Romney told reporters during a press conference in Florence, South Carolina after a lightly attended morning rally. Over the last ten years, he said, “My income comes overwhelmingly from some investments made in the past, whether ordinary income or earned annually.”
