Which would probably spur Ryan into sketching out a 2016 Presidential bid, an excellent fall-back plan if Romney loses in 2012.

That would be quite the conundrum for Ryan. Either work as hard as he can to be the Vice President for the next four to eight years, serving under a man he refers to as "The Stench"; or start the groundwork to be President in four years, when he won't have to run against Obama.
