Apparently Oshkosh' return to their roots, exclusive children's clothier, was a smart move. Like "Curly" said in the movie "City Slickers", the secret to happiness in life is to find one thing that you do well and do it the very, very best that you can. The rest will take care of itself.
I feel that management's decision to discontinue their great experiment and chalk it's lack of success up to experience, then regroup and move on shows a great deal of business savvy. No catering to ego at the top. The results have been a very positive market trend upward. For those who have hung on, or opened positions during the down time, it has been a reward or a relief. I, for one, will keep my positions for as long as there are ankle biters and curtain climbers for doting grandparents to spoil. Not based on anything else but Grandma's intuition.
