ROSS is much different concept than KOHLs. Ross is off-price... meaning buyers buy goods late in the season from department stores. While Kohl's is basically, an off-mail department stores. KSS is a good company but doesn't not have the competitive advantage of ROST or TJX, their strong buyers and better business model hence suppier free cash flow. Basically, within apparel there is chronic overproduction... and department stores are disfunctional (push back for discounts/kickbacks when goods don't sell through at retail).

I believe DD's a great concept. If you don't believe in DD's as a concept than I can understand why you don't own the stock. I think DD's is far better than TJX's AJ Wright. The systems problems make me questions management but you have to look at what is priced into the stock. At $22 I am a buyer

Congrats on owning this for 6 years... you beat the pants off the market. What are you buying now?
