My husband and I make over the 110,000 limit when you combine our salaries, yet I only contribute about 1/4 to that total. If me and my husband file our taxes jointly, yet I open up a Roth IRA on my own, (it is not a joint account), am I still able to open up and contribute to a Roth? Would I have to file taxes seperately in order to open one up?

Thanks!
