7 hours, 39 minutes. #799 out of 1000 finishers.

I had no time goal heading in to this race, so I met that.
It was a very beautiful course, running along the American River near Sacramento. It was 90-95% trail and most of that single track. They had some rain over the last 2 weeks so the course was wet; I got in up to my knees at mile 4 and never looked back. The course was very muddy so it was easy on the legs. I don't have any joint pain or anything today, 3 days later, but my legs are still pretty tired and sore. I am planning to run an easy few miles this afternoon.

Next up: pacing my girlfriend the 2nd half of American River 50 miler on April 4. Basically the same area. I will also be running part of the relay marathon at Big Sur (You're allowed to continue on the course, so we are planning to just keep adding people; I'll be doing about 20). Then my next actual race is Grand canyon half.
