S-fool:"The rich, however, are held to no such comparative limitations. Can't possibly bring CEO salaries back to those Dark Ages where they made only 25x more than the average worker's salary, instead of 400x more as today's brilliant and deserving CEO's command. "

Once again, it's wealth envy!

And really, you don't think the Kings of old made more than 25x the average workers salary? LOL

or that Carnegie, Rockerfeller, and the rest of them in the late 19th century didn't make 25x more than their 'average worker'?

You definitely need a US history refresher course.

They got fabulously rich. In the process, they gave us coast to coast railroads and transportation to any town, city and burg in the USA . They gave us fuel to start to automotive revolution.

While Europe was in the dark, living with candles, first they gave us kerosene.....and got rich in the process. Then they gave us electricity.....while Europe was in the dark.....and then they gave us the automobile and fuel for it.

And again, you didn't address Bill Gates or Warren Buffet or Steve Jobs or any other of your 400 HOllywood elite 'stars' and their bazillions.

You only attack private enterprise. Duh! wealth envy...nothing but.

Why didn't you go after the NFL stars who make 25x , or is it 100x more than 'regular NFL players'?

Or movie stars who make 10,000 times more than a stage hand ?

For you, it is 'see a corporation' , hate a corporation. if it isn't government run to a lib, and usually run badly, it's not fair that some make more money......

Sorry...... if I invented , say , anti-gravity tomorrow, I'd expect to make 10,000 times more than you in the next couple years. Maybe a million times more. And you'd be unhappy, but still buy one of my flying cars for you to tool around in....moaning and groaning about that 'rich' CEO.....
