Sakes alive, we have totally lost our way and become the He Said She Said board. Or something like that.

Can we all agree that:

1) The makeover was pretty bad.

2) She should have guessed that sawing up the deck might piss him off. Or anyone off.

3) As a generality, spouses should have an agreement in place before changing hard-to-restore fixtures that are community property. Or making any unilateral changes that will cost a bunch of money. Like flying to Vegas without discussion.

4) He still got a reasonably good deal with football camp plus a nice grill and mixer, despite the hole in the deck, which will at least be a good story for the next few barbecues.

5) Unless you are on Jerry Springer and your spouse has just announced the s/he has been having long-term affairs with two of your siblings, there is no good reason to be jerky to said spouse on camera. Or at a party. Or anywhere public. Especially when the spouse *tried* to do something nice, even if it failed miserably. You can discuss it later.


Now shake hands and get back to talking about Vern.
