I own some long term stocks and also day trading (same day buy and sell) some of the same stocks. When I sell my share, shall I use first in first out rule?

If I bought 100 shares of stock for 50 per share and bought 100 more share again the next day for 30 per share. The next day I sold 100 share for 40, can I clam the loss for the one I paid 50 for it?

Thanks in advance for any help.
