Not strictly related to my job sucking, because I was separated from Agere Systems on October 24 in their rolling every-two-week layoffs.

November 20 (my 5 year anniversary) was a little hard to get over this year, but I managed it. Today however was the ultimate limit: I got, via UPS (where I've applied for a job, by the way) a small package that contained a smaller package. Inside that smaller package was a watch with the engraving "Agere Systems 5 years" on the back of it.

Oh, just rub my face in it, why dontcha.

Nice watch, though. I might keep it. Might be worth something someday.
