Given how wrong the weather forecasters generally are (particularly when they play CYA in predicting a HUGE storm), I'm wondering about Sandy.Yes, there's a hurricane tracking up from the south. And yes, it has a very wide track. And yes, there apparently are two other storms - one coming from the west and one from the north. But, how likely is it that they will all converge right here over NYC? (Anyone else thinking right now about a movie called "The Perfect Storm"?)Who knows. But in this election year, I've received emails from several current office-holders telling me what they've been doing to "gather up the troops" as it were and what I should be doing in preparation.I'm thinking of just closing all the blinds and curtains, shutting off the TV and seeing what happens!Christina
