“And why do we need to reduce government spending?” asked Santelli. “Because we run trillion dollar deficits for crying out loud.”

Sure... debt reaches 200% of GDP and Liesman is crowing that we've "reduced" spending by 15% (meaning we've reduced the rate of growth by 15%, lol!)

Santelli is right, as usual.

Our ancestors fled Europe, Asia and Africa, risking all to escape the all encompassing, intrusive, high tax governments of the "Old World".

Their children or grandchildren have chosen to bring it over here.

We are lost without change and not the change that B. Obama promised and brought us.

This reminds me of a local furniture store ad. "We don't mark it up just to mark it down and call it a sale". Having massive growth of government and then cutting it is really not shrinking the size of government.
