I have no clue about active financial mgt other than I want to save for a house. I usually file a 1040ez myself. I am a single male aged 35 with no real property. Essentially I want to take funds that I gain from work (IE: bonusus and stock purchase) and small investments I make on the stock market and put them in the cookie jar per se until I get a sizable down payment. I want the funds to be as liquid as possible without killing myself on taxes. I anticipate a 5 yr or less plan. Any pointers.. Clues?
