Saw on the news a Lexus car lot that had been flooded. Will they try to sell them as flood recovered vehicles? Wholesale them out to someone who brings them out west to sell? I would be interested if the water didn't get above the floorboards.

The dealer will insurance claim them. The insurance company will take the cars. They will be sold at auction as salvage. What happens from there...

???

There was a huge industry post-Katrina to export the salvage titled cars to other countries and sell them there. I suspect a lot full of new Lexii, would be heading to South America or Africa.
