Says the economy should be creating "500,000 jobs every month" during a normal recovery.

You know, I don't know any more why Republican politicians even pretend to live in a fact-based world. Why say 500,000? Why not "five hundred kajillion billion"?

Why not say that if elected, he will cut your taxes to minus three thousand percent, create thirty four ziptillion jobs a year, and be running an annual budget surplus of eighty obsquatimatillion jillion dollars?

Clearly, GOP voters don't care about the facts from this round of candidates, they want it to sound good. They want another Reagan "morning in America". "500,000" as a lie makes Romney look like such an unimaginative piker. Almost reality-based. No wonder the GOP base is unenthused about him.
