Scott,As long as you pay off the balance monthly (or at least transfer it to a lower %APR card), you might as well get miles for it. It really adds up. As with TMF2Aruba, I have American AAdvantage VISA and AA has a slew of programs which earn you extra miles: ordering flowers from FTD, miles with MCI long distance, miles in their dining program, reduced miles to certain destinations every quarter...AA miles partners are endless. The card is great when I go out with a large group of people and offer to pay the large dinner bill (everyone else gives me cash) on my card. One caveat- don't spend the cash before your bill arrives!Cindy
