TMFKaren's problems locating a Microsoft Knowledgebase Article for her Outlook Problem brings an issue to mind; what is the best way to search for Microsoft Support?

I have two different ways to access the KnowledgeBase; my company pays to have TechNet provided on our Network, and it is updated monthly. In addition, I also have the same access that you have, that by going to the Microsoft Searchable Knowledgebase Website @ http://search.support.microsoft.com/kb/c.asp?ln=en-us&sd=gn

But when searching the Website, It is sometimes hard to narrow down a problem into words that the website understands. If I can't find the article at Microsoft, I try asking the same question, but this time, through a search engine; my favorite is Google ( www.google.com )

Many times, you will get a hit that references a Microsoft Technet Article; and it may be one that you didn't find when directly querying the Microsoft Website.

So next time you are trying to find some info, ask the question of your favorite search engine too.
