Second, they aren't as well covered by our insurance

The one presenting last night had agreements with the insurance companies that service the state. I would think from the insurance companies stand point, they'd much rather pay for a cheaper option than ER care.

Third, in one case there was a very long wait (over 2 hours).

I've seen waits like that in the ER when they aren't true emergencies.
