I have not seen the topic of security discussed. Now that everything seems to be going wireless. What measures are built into CDMA or WCDMA to prevent interception of wireless information. Granted CDMA seems the better choice in conveying bandwidth, but all it would take is a a security lapse or break. This is even more of a problem if one thinks of wireless internet, corporate intranets, home LAN as well as equity or banking transactions that are thought possible.

Privacy is another problem. Will there be safeguards to prevent being found or will location be revealed in the wireless world and privacy be an historical item of the 20th century.

Granted movement will be to HDR and 3G, but based on CDMA have these issues been addressed.
