Seems to me that there's been lots of general discussion of retirement investment options on this board from which you could learn, even if there wasn't a specific response to your question. I didn't respond as I didn't feel experienced enough to give you THE answer. And I don't believe that there is one answer that fits everyone, anyway. For me, I'd want to put $ in an index fund while I took the time to investigate and decide on specific stocks -- maybe following one of the Fool portfolios, or maybe creating one of my own.
