seldom958, there was a reverse split, 1/10, on CAR. As far as the other purchase, I think you fail to take into account that those 164 shares didn't materialize out of thin air, they were part of CD. You got one H for every four you had of CD, so, your $6.315 per share simply represents one fourth of the Realogy price at either the open or close of the first day of the official spin-off, or, of the average price that day (I don't know which it is, but the differences among those three possibilities would not be too great). What I believe you have to do is add all three prices per share that day (CD, H, WYN--you got 1 WYN for every five of CD) together, and then apply the percentages to that total--I think.
