Sell or store all your stuff, buy a round the world ticket and go for a grand walk about. I think about half the people in New Zealand do this when they are young, which is what convinces them that they were born in one of the finest places on earth.

Do New Zealand and Australia as separate trips. The standard story has people stopping first in NZ and never continuing on to Oz.

Try Egypt, it will warp your sense of time. You start dismissing 1,000 year old buildings as modern. But also a good place to on a tour rather than be independent. When you are that poor, you aren't willing to take no from some gringo with the equivelant of a year's pay in his pocket.

I want to rent a canal boat and go cruising Europe's canal network. 3 mph sounds like my pace.
