What's not to like about it?

$109 billion in automatic across-the-board spending cuts in the discretionary budget. And repeal of the Bush tax cuts.

Sure, it's a clumsy way top go about reducing the deficit, but it's better than doing nothing. If stuff gets cut that shouldn't be cut, then Congress can pass laws to add them back. If we want the Bush tax cuts to continue on income less than $250K, then pass a new law.
