Hello Everyone. This is my first post. We've just found TMF. My wife was injured in an auto accident almost 2 years ago, and we're about to settle with the insurance company. It appears that we could be looking at between 500,000-700,000 to invest.

We have about $50,000 in debts (11-15% interest rates) that we'd like to pay off. I'm interested in talking with people who have had similar windfall issues. We're both teachers and have decent pensions, but have neglected planning for our own retirement plans. I'm learning about 403(b) (we both work for schools) and Roth IRAs.

Any suggestions or resources beyond what's here that we should be looking at?
Chris
