I read thru several of the past posts and have some questions around options.

Can "in the money" calls/puts be purchased? If so what's the up and down side to this?

How do you sell your calls/puts back into the open market and what I mean by this is what guarantee if any does one have that the sale will be executed?

Does it get "harder" to sell contracts back into the market the closer to expiration? If so would I be better off exercising a position?

Does the bid/ask with options work the same as a individual stocks assuming you sell using limit orders?
