When I read that HYC was going to restate it's earnings, I was only half prepared for the patter of florsheim feet to stomp on the prone body. The door slammed open and in they came.... The wake left me spinning.

My personal experience has been laughable if it weren't for the damage it caused some companies. Anybody remember ELAN?

If anyone signs on to one of these lawsuits, be prepared for a lot of email and a lot of time filling out paperwork that may net a few cents
if the suit is settled in your lifetime.

As a caveat, yes, there are situations that demand such action. Enron, Worldcom are a couple examples... However, I have to hold with the thought that the only people who make money in class action lawsuits are, in fact, the lawyers. NJB
