She had actually called me to get the moth down for her!!!

BB woke me up just after sunrise a few days ago because she saw a spider on the wall in the bedroom. Mind you, BB is not a hunter - if she were a dog and not a cat, she would be a cross between a pointer and a springer spaniel. If she finds an insect on the floor, she will stand over it while making funny little noises and looking my way until I come over and kill it for her. And when she spots a spider or a moth or some other flying insect, she will alert me and then follow it around, identifying its location for me -- and waiting for me to get rid of it.

Her brother Bubba was quite different. He would find the insect, attack it and then kill it and eat it. (Yum, protein!) If he couldn't reach it, he would elicit my assistance and once I knocked it off the ceiling or wall, do his best to get me out of the way so that he could claim his prize!!!
