I bought SANM last year. For a while there it was a real darling of Wall Street, but then...well you probably know the story, it's gone the way of every other tech stock.

A while back I sold half my position with the plan to hold the other half for a least a year.

Lately it's been pretty weak and it got a couple of downgrades recently. During the last couple of tech rallies (including today) SANM slid. I get the distinct feeling it's going to be going down.

I'm seriously considering shorting SANM in a different account to mitigate my losses and maybe even make a few bucks. Maybe I'll sell my long position too.

But I'm no expert on shorting so I'd really like to know what you folks think. Short SANM?

Thanks for your replies.
