Thanks for your comments. We are swapping messages at the rate of one every 6 weeks, so I'll check for your response after April.

I've now been back in the UK for 2 months and have completely lost track of my Aussie shares. The top 100 stocks are quoted in the Financial Times every day, and I keep an eye on them very ocassionally. I know this is a bit unFoolish, but hopefully the shares should look after themselves.

One which I am still holding, and which I suspect many others do too, is Woolworths. I could'nt believe it when I saw their share price over $6. What happened?

Now for my next question; are they over-valued now? My paper gives them a trailing P/E of above 20, which looks high for a low margin retailer in a very competitive market. Or am I missing something?
