Since India and Pakistan have acquired nuclear weapons, hostilities between them have been better managed.

Attacking Iran in a fruitless effort to forestall their development of a nuclear weapon is just short of the insanity of Iran attacking Israel with a nuclear weapon.

That analogy does not work. India and Pakistan are just two countries. Iran and the Sunni world make for many, many countries, even those not Sunni would be fearful of an empowered Iran and thus pursue nukes. Once the Iranians have nukes, their bluster will just ramp up and not down. Thus the real danger as seen by most all of the world. Besides, it was Pakistan fomenting a spread of nukes to other Muslim nations. That is barely in check still. Iran and Hezbullah...think man.

Things are changin and fast.
