Since the internet advertising business model has more or less failed, I realize that businesses have to act like businesses and worry about their bottom line and do not resent them for it. No one has come up with a working micro-payments system yet so some of the content providers with content I use infrequently, I will simply do without rather than paying a hefty fee. But content providers that I use and value, especially one that hopefully helps me to profit from my investments (specifically Fool.com) is a service that I'll ante up for. Signed up for my 2 years of Fool this morning. This is btw the first online content I've paid for in 12 years of internet usage (not including dialup). It would be nice if our fees allowed us to go banner ad-less but to be honest, I have gotten value out of my fool.com banner ads. That is how I first heard of B&H and came to be an account holder. I actually like the banner ads for Amazon I think it is that showcases investment book titles. I don't have time to research good investment books and it gives me some titles to consider (have not bought any yet though).Bob
