I was just starting to do some investing on my own. I got a piece in the mail about this new shoe and fell in feet first clear up to my neck, lol
I would have do OK though had I not decided to take a vacation with no way to keep updated on my positions and no way to trade. While I was away the stock went from just over $2.00 and down to 25 cents never to recover again. And not long after they flopped. I do think I still recovered some of my losses this past tax season. I finally found that I could sell it for $0 and with reporting it as a loss worked out to my advantage. I have learned a lot since then. The main thing is to always be aware of my positions and to make sure I can buy or sell instantly.
