Letter to the editor in today's Star-Ledger

It will be interesting to see who the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate will be in 2012 as it won’t be President Obama. Traditionally, incumbent presidents always seek a second term. A recent exception was Lyndon Johnson. Obama will not run again primarily because, like Johnson, he knows he cannot win. I believe he will renounce his candidacy.

He created a worse economic mess than he inherited and cannot continue to blame President George W. Bush. When Obama applied for the job, he knew what he was inheriting, and he promised to change it. Instead, he made it worse.
