Thanks to yesterday's mention of sales of old stock certificates on eBay, I visited the site and searched for Berkshire memorabilia. I purchased a Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. 20 Year of Service pin which has the company name wrapped around a lighthouse. The pin interested me for two reasons. The first was that I am approaching 20 years as a shareholder and the second was that my wife and I use a lighthouse for the logo of our consulting business (which has led to the accumulation of a fair amount of lighthouse stuff). The lighthouse looks like it may be a depiction of the Point Gammon lighthouse which is located on a private island owned by the Chase family.Hopefully the link below will get you a view of the item:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Berkshire-Hathaway-20-years-ser...I am wondering if anyone can identify the lighthouse itself or provide any information regarding the use of a lighthouse as a logo by Berkshire. Thanks much.
