Eric,
I see that SMOD has been acquired by Siver Lake. From its 8-K report, I read that shareholders are to get $9.25/share in cash. So SMOD does not exist anymore? though I keep seeing a new ticker of WWH.
Did I miss something? This is the first I've heard about it. My account does not reflect the sale of this stock, but it is no longer in my portfolio.
Any info appreciated,
Jana Brandao

Hey Jana,

Yes, SMOD was taken private. Not sure how the specifics of that work with your broker, but you should be cashed out on it by this time.

Hope everything has been resolved with that.

Best,
Eric

Hi Jana,

Sorry, I'm not Eric, but it seems the private equity firm Silver Lake Partners bought SMOD up. If you were supposed to get paid for your shares, then you really need to contact your broker. I'm sure those proceeds are somewhere. SMOD still exists, but it should be part of a private ownership now. http://www.silverlake.com/partners/investments.php?page=inve...

If you want to invest with Silver Lake, I think you need to have mega bucks.http://www.silverlake.com/content.php?page=investors

Foolish best,
blesto
