It's not important to understand this or that about God. The only thing that is important is whether you accept Jesus as the saviour and believe that God raised him from the dead. It's that simple.

Excuse me, Mr. Converter. I don't recall this being the CF board. Since when did I ever ask you what you thought was or was not important in my life? If you can't contribute to a thread and offer a bit of on-topic discussion (or at least some entertaining humor), then why don't you back off and go hang around CF-land.

I do believe that it is important to ask these questions. I think Bonhoeffer is working quite hard to get me to understand his perspective (and respectful enough not to try to sell me on his religion while he was at it). I don't see what your problem with this is, but if you don't like the topic, then find something else to talk about. Preferrably eslewhere if all you are out to do is convert.
