I sold SNDK at .19. As the market was closing the ask was .02. In order notto be assigned I bought it. Did I do right

It doesn't really matter what the bid or ask is, it matters what the strike on your option was and what the stock's price was. (Of course, if you sold a put, which is my guess, you can be assigned at anytime -- American-style options.)

Can you give more details about what option you traded?
