Ummmmm...OK.

So...let me say (for like the 4th time) - you need to get together and review all your costs TOGETHER. Review all your combined income TOGETHER. Decide on priorities TOGETHER. Make decisions about what to cut TOGETHER.

You need to develop a combined budget that addresses all income and outgo. And not use it as an excuse for sniping, but simply as a clear-eyed, black & white decision of where your $$$ should go.
