So if we drive the RV about 50 - 55 mph

In my experience, most RVs go too fast for you to pass them on the straightaways, then slow to 3 mph for every curve on the backroads, making it impossible to get to your motel before dark. No doubt you are one of those offenders.



I'm going to answer this rude post, and then I'm going to p-box you - finally. So don't bother to reply.

My answer is that I don't yet know if I'm one of those offenders because we haven't yet gone anywhere in the RV. I'm pretty sure, though, that we will be able to manage a few miles faster than 3 mph. At whatever speed we do drive, however, it will be legal -- whether people like you like it or not. Even if you never get to your "motel".
