So, in your dream, did the top stop spinning or keep going?

dsbrady

I'm guessing it sounded like it was starting to slow down, at which point he confidently walked away.

I'm still very torn on that ending. It is kind of, I want to say brilliant but that's an overstatement. Still, there were multiple endings all in one.
1. the top was stopping AND he knew it and walked away
2. the top kept spinning AND he knew it, and was okay with it
3. He didn't care what the top was doing
4. he thought the top was continuing and was okay with it, but as he walked away, it (sounded like it) was starting to slow

All make for interesting endings, at least for a couple few minutes when you bother to ponder it.

-spookysquid, noting the large number of movies seen recently that DON'T get you to think about them for a couple few minutes afterwards
