So is the issue that I'm not supporting Girl Scouts - and some people here think they should pick which organizations I make donations too?

I don't know why you felt impelled to announce you don't buy Girl Scout cookies. You didn't have to respond. Lots of people don't buy Girl Scout cookies, or indeed, any cookies at all. But they didn't feel that they had to announce that fact.

The point vkg made is actually the important one; you have developed a tendency to snipe and sneer at other people. You can't just let something go; you have to make the original poster sound stupid.

A couple weeks ago you posted something on a social board that was pleasant and kind, and my jaw dropped. You had been so unpleasant for so long I was surprised to find you being kind. I wish you could post pleasant posts more often. You often make very good points. It's just that I wish you could be more friendly in your posts.
