So, just to be clear, you don't see large gains in energy efficiency as something that is going to decrease pollution?


seems to me there's four things -- connected,
but sometimes conflated

sometimes making one better makes another
also better, sometimes makes it worse

short term evil, long term maybe not as bad as---

greenhouse pollution ... the greenhouse gases & climate
change: short term No Problem, long term serious
