So lets say I put $200 into the account in June or so. If I take the $200 out then I won't have to do a recharacterization? How do I figure out how much of the earnings need to be taken out if the amount that I put in is only a portion of the total amount in the account?The custodian has a formula. Just tell them you want to withdraw the contribution made on mm/dd/yyyy and the earnings on it.Phil
