So the earnings are taxed at the child's rate--but you can't deduct it from your taxable income, right? Like if in 2008 you put in $5000--you don't get to say you made $5000 less?I guess you're right--we can't have the cake and eat it too (and are lucky to have the cake.)Thanks again for all the help.
