Confused....saying about what? I meant that I loove knitting and I looove giving stuff to people so much that it's almost an exercise in discipline making something for myself. :)

I like the purple, but i'm a sucker for purple.

Yeah, that's what I've been leaning towards, myself.

Just out of curiosity, how many skeins does it take to make one sweater?

I'm not sure, actually. Alot. These skeins only have 45 yards in them. I'll have to do a few swatches to figure out the yardage I'll need. Most adult sweaters use about 1100-1800 yards, depending upon size and the pattern...patterns with lots of cable work will use more yarn than less textured ones.

I have no idea about such things.... Could you use the three colors they have? It might look interesting...

I could.....but I'm not thrilled with the mustard yello color that they have. The LYS has the dark grey, the dark blue and the mustard yellow in stock. The grey and blue I like well enough, but that mustard....I'm just not sure that I could get away with wearing it.
