So you didn't check out the NPR article that showed data that nationally the number on disability had doubled in 20 years?

Obviously this result is generated by a combination of poor national economy & demographics. But let's not let facts git in the way of a knee jerk reaction.


Well yeah, those are the reasons. The population has increased by 60 million, and we're in a serious economic down turn, and the population is getting older, and there are fewer people on welfare...

...so, I'm just not that surprised more people are on disability. I'm also not surprised that the tea-bag savvy Red States are by far and away the leaders in percentage of the population on disability.

That said, I really didn't have problem with the original post besides the annoying use of the third person, other than anyone use used the words "unfunded liability" is either a flim-flam artist or the mark. I suspect the OP is the mark.
