I have to my credit 31 quarters of work where my S.S.was deducted. After that I started working for a company that has its own pension plan and no S.S.is deducted from my pay.

S.S.Administration says I need minimum 40 quarters to get S.S.benefits.

I hate to lose S.S.benefits just for 9 quarters.

Is there any way out ?
