Yes, I am one of those Government Employees who also paid the maximum Social Security tax for 23 years and should get $1300 per month if I was not a government worker. I paid a lot of money for my government pension also while I worked. But because the government was running out of money for social security, the government employee who also worked other places were penalized. So instead of getting $1300 per month, I will get $600 per month after age 65 and 8 months. This is a lot less than the social security my sister-in-law will get who never contributed and never had to work, because she will get half of her husbands social security pension. Its a real rip off for Federal Employees that the general public never heard about.
